Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site

Discover the life of the workers and masters of the forges who provided for the colony's needs from 1730 to 1883. Let the history of the site and the legends that have been passed down from generation to generation soak you in.

Trails partially closed

For safety and conservation reasons, the industrial valley area between the upper and lower forges and the trails in this area are closed. The trails leading to the Saint-Maurice River are also closed. Finally, the Diabolus ex machina outdoor activity is not available due to the temporary closure of the trails.
